::Coven Dev Build 9.14.24 Update Notes::
NEW
Gameplay
- Training/Practice mode for players to have a game-like environment to practice and learn the base game
- Damage now has a Damage UI that shows how much damage has been taken
- Spells now have a 'Surge' state when used for x amount that unleashes a free deadly blast of magic
- Relic now teleports for every 25% it is harnessed
UI
- Kill Feed was implemented to show when players die, by whom, and by what spell/action
- Added Relic HUD indicator to show player relic location
- Added damage indicators so the player knows the general direction they were hit from
- Added 'Surge' UI for players to identify when another player has a surged ability
UPDATES
Gameplay Controls
- Gamepad control bindings in and functional (UI does not currently update to gamepad binding when controls are switched)
- Decreased spell cooldown and increased spell damage ratios
- Pressing 1 no longer crashes when player is a ghost
- Increased starting lives
- The match ends if all players in the room are ghosts
- Player can now aim cast abilities up and down for better targeting control
UI
- Private Room code re-enabled
- Complete HUD revamp to show relic harnessed and time remaining along top
AI
- Protector damage reduced and spawn logic modified
General
- Gameplay balances and minor bug fixes
